Victory Place was a lovely home. It had a lot of space for our extended family group. Close to Everline and Palisades. It was easy to get to Truckee for supplies and extra food. Having the pool table and foosball was great. Two living spaces allowed us to spread out and enjoy the weekend!

Beautiful home in Tahoe. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to more lively parts of the lake.

We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday in Tahoe and we stayed at this house. We had an amazing experience and will def rent this place again.

This place was great. We had a great time. The pool table downstairs was a nice addition. Plenty of space for everyone. It was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Ideal location and accommodations! Easy walk to the lake/beach, market and restaurants. Very relaxing and enjoyable time at Lake Tahoe.

This home was perfect for our group of 5 people, all wanting their own bedrooms - the home is very spacious and could accommodate a much larger group. It is quite comfortably and beautifully furnished, with great views out the big picture windows in the living room - It is conveniently located near Everline Resort in Palisades. Also, we had terrific and responsive service from the Tahoe Getaways staff. I highly recommend this home and would stay there again -

We stayed at Silverado Lodge at Palisades, a Tahoe Getaways property. The most disturbing thing was that we saw several mice, there were mouse droppings in a bedroom and on the dining table. We were quite disappointed in the quality of the property for the price. Here are other observations: General: The house is a nice size and layout but seems neglected. There should be some type of furniture or a picnic table on the main deck so you could sit out there. Without it, the deck is practically useless for anything other than standing and looking out for a few minutes. We really missed the opportunity to sit or have meals outside and enjoy the beautiful setting. Cleanliness: When we arrived, there was a dead mouse in the shower in the downstairs bedroom (with shower) when we arrived. Also, the kitchen floor was very dirty. At the time, we thought it was crumbs but are now wondering whether it was mouse droppings. Both the main deck and the one off the main bedroom upstairs were extremely dirty and required sweeping. Additionally, all the windows are quite dirty and several screens have holes in them. Primary Bedroom 1 upstairs (with jacuzzi): 1. Sheets were very scratchy and the comforter is too heavy and hot for summer. 2. The mattress is very soft and saggy. It needs replacing. 3. The room never cooled down as the fireplace pilot light is giving off quite a bit of heat. There did not seem to be a way to cool the room via the hallway thermostat or via the fans. Sleeping was not comfortable. Bedroom 2 upstairs (with shower): There is a large wasp nest inside the window frame (see photo), and there is some way that they get into the bathroom and bedroom. We had several wasps in that bedroom throughout the stay and heard mice in the room. There is a mouse infestation in this room, perhaps in the sofa. We were only at the property for a few days and requested financial compensation from Tahoe Getaways, but they took over two weeks to respond and said they would do nothing since we did not call them about these issues while we were there. The one time I did call them, I got an answering machine. In truth, the visit was too short and time limited to devote it to these issues at the time. I would not recommend booking this property or booking via Tahoe Getaways.

We rented the Big Horn Luxury Lodge managed by Tahoe Getaways. From the beginning, communication was efficient and prompt as we reserved this property for our Lake Tahoe vacation. We appreciated the clear check-in directions and listing accuracy. Our vacation to Lake Tahoe with 3 generations of family was made extra special staying in this beautiful home. The property was very clean, well appointed with lovely decor and great location. It was equipped with everything we needed. Check out instructions were again clear and easy. The staff at Tahoe Getaway went above and beyond to find and return a very loved stuffed animal that our 3 year old granddaughter left behind. We look forward to renting with Tahoe Getaways again!

This home will be a return visit for us. Secluded yet with amazing amenities and a short drive to Truckee and the beach. We didn’t want to leave. I do suggest other guests pack an eye mask if the mountain morning sun will bother you!
