We had the most wonderful stay here. Love the home, it's architecture, tall windows, well stocked kitchen for cooking and entertaining. Most of all we loved our mornings watching blue Jays and evenings on the deck watching the lake view, sail boat races, grilling steaks or marshmallows for smores, the stars and moon coming out. Love the layout, cozy beds, house decor and art very special too. Love the central location to shops (short drive) but how quiet and remote the house feels. Also love discovering Sugar Pine Cakery & Cafe (20 min walk or 4 min drive) and then taking a walk through Skylandia Park to the Beach w/dock and walking the beach in the mornings. Great home! Great Location! and even a bonus Bear visit but felt very safe with the house's security.

We loved the house and the location, especially the quick access to the beach. Kitchen was well-stocked as far as dishes and cooking utensils. The front porch was awesome!

The house was just as advertised: beautiful; expansive; comfortable; well-structured; with two decks and an unbelievable view of Donner Lake. One issue we had: the house was very minimally stocked with bath towels; paper towels, TP, and silverware; we actually had to go out and buy these items ourselves, much to our dismay. That said, we would definitely rent that same house again. We have great memories and the views are etched into our brains!

The home was "as advertised" and suited our family quite well. A couple of comments that would've improved our experience: Wifi was terrible, pillows were extremely thin, a note on coffee pot said "does not work" was never replaced, no detergent for laundry and garbage was completely full upon arrival. All fairly minor issues but should be addressed for next renter.

We had a great experience staying in this beautiful home just 2 blocks walk from the lake. The private lake access was ideal. The neighborhood is quiet. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and towels. The kitchen was was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc for cooking in. Very comfortable home and would definitely stay here again. Thanks!!!

Place was great for our little family! Could use some upgrades and some minor fixes but I was was very clean and sooo quiet and easy to get to Tahoe and Truckee. So nice being close to the pond. Which is a great amenity. Felt safe and serene. Screens on the windows were great and the great room was so comfortable to relax and hang out in! We had a great time! Would stay again!

Stockholm Vista was just as described and is a beautiful home. High quality linens and towels and plenty of space. WE would love to stay here again in the future.

Great location with lake views and walking distance to Skylandia beach and Tahoe City (1 hour). Great for a group with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 at first level. 3 bathrooms! Kitchen was well stocked and place is clean. No A/C. I gave this 5 stars not because it is luxurious but exactly what you want in a Tahoe cabin - cozy, great family table, easy access to beach, Tahoe City and King's Beach.

We had a wonderful stay at the Vanni House. Location was fantastic, we walked the lake path and hung out at Commons beach every day. Ordered take out from Fat Cat or cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen. It was a fantastic week! It happened to be a week with a heat spell in Tahoe and it was nice to be able to sit on the porch, the natural shade from the tress was a relief. We will certainly stay here again.

Incredible stay, home was amazing. Had every kitchen supply you could imagine, great laundry room, great hot tub, everything was clean and felt brand new. 10/10 would recommend and would love to stay here again
