Fantastic place - very comfortable with everything you could need, beautiful decor. The rental company was very helpful and responsive. Great stay all around.

Tahoe getaways has been great to work with. We used them a few times this past summer, after realizing they were doing the property management for some of the same rentals we stayed at with AirBnB. Figured we could cut one layer of disconnect and fees away. They have been great about sending us options for last minute stays that are also dog friendly. They have also extended a discount for being a repeat client. We had a couple issues with one stay- the cleaning crew was late and caused us a late check-in, and there was a blocked drain in the main shower…. Both issues were dealt with quickly and professionally, which means a lot. I know sometimes problems arise and the great part about dealing with a local management company is they can address things quickly ( vs a remote home owner, or going through an app who then needs to contact management, etc). There were several rental properties that were available during the labor day weekend but this one met all our criteria. The check-in process was simple, the home was exactly as described-inviting, bright, clean, modern appliances and amazing views of the meadow. The location was great with short drive to multiple fun activities including Kings beach north lake tahoe, river rafting, treetops/zipline and Donner lake.In addition to a master suite, there was a mini suite with attached bathroom which was great for added privacy. Kids had fun sleeping in bunk beds. This was our first visit to Truckee and I am glad that we found this gem!! We will definitely come back!! TM.

We had a wonderful stay over the weekend for our daughters wedding which was held at The Timbers at Old Greenwood golf course. The house had a wonderful vibe and was well stocked with necessities. We had plenty of room for our large group- 12 guests. The hot tub was a very nice addition. The house was located in a peaceful area with lots of nature. It was quiet and serene. The staff was professional and responsive. Everything was clean and well marked. This is our second stay at this house and will be back again. This house has a special place in our heart.

My family recently enjoyed a fantastic weekend at Eclipse Retreat. The home is beautifully constructed, and was more than enough room for six adults and two children. The kitchen is full of high-end appliances & accessories, comfortable beds and a great hot tub. We enjoyed walking to the private park/beach area, Sunnyside for dinner and watercraft rentals. The staff at Tahoe Getaways was helpful and attentive. The weekend was perfect and we hope to return soon.

This place was fantastic. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for a week, and it was perfect. Comfortable home, and so clean, which I feel isn’t always the case with cabins, but everything about the home was perfect. They have a great deck, the area is quiet, the hot tub is amazing, comfortable beds, great showers and hot water, and sits in between two areas with lots to do. I cant recommend this property enough. - TM

We loved our time here and can't wait to go back! Sipping my coffee on the deck while looking at the lake and listening to the birds was a highlight for me. It's a beautiful space and it had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

we LOVED our stay. Tahoe Getaways is a perfect place to plan a family vacation! It’s in a great location( close to shops, and restaurants) a few steps to the beautiful lake! We Love renting from Tahoe Getaways! Since renting our first home through them 7 years ago we haven’t even looked at other management companies! We are a family of 7 with dogs, so not all homes meet our needs, Tahoe Getaway’s inventory is extensive in Truckee and the North and West Shore areas in Tahoe so we’ve been able to find several homes that have been great, so great that we’ve been in one of them every year for the last 4 years! They have always taken such good care of us with very quick to response to correct issues that can come up in any rental home, or just to help with recommendations for local services and restaurants. Check-in and check out are super easy too. Tahoe Getaways gets an A+ in my book! TM
