Don’t hesitate. Best place and location

This is the third time we’ve stayed here over the last 5 years, and as usual, no complaints. It is so comfortable, the front outdoor seating area really enlarges the entire place, the kitchen has everything you need to cook (and BBQ). We were 5 people and, given the back studio, we did not feel cramped at all. Since we’ve been renting here, they put in some nice upgraded touches that really elevated our overall experience. Overall, they’ve thought of everything one may need for a comfortable stay (including long term stays).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it fit our family needs during this trip. While we were there during a spring break period, our location was peaceful and quiet and out of all the hustle and bustle. Our group included parents, teens and grandparents, so having the extra room in the "little house" afforded everyone their own space. The beach was easily accessible and was not overly crowded. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to walk around in the mornings or evenings . We planned on cooking most meals at the house and found the kitchen was well equipped and having groceries delivered to the house saved on shopping. It is a little over a mile to "the fun zone" area and I imagine very walkable depending on ages and abilities. For us it was easier to drive, park and then explore. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with and answered any questions in a timely manner. We would stay there again.

Just returned home from our monthlong stay in Newport Beach. The house is clean, bright and newly renovated, perfect for us and our visiting friends and family. Loads of closet space and comfortable beds. Private parking spot is a huge plus. Loved having the separate guest suite and the location in Peninsula Point can’t be beat for that quiet, neighborhood feel. We would love to return. Two suggestions I would make would be to please add a teakettle for the stove as a kitchen essential and it would helpful to label the two house keys because they looked identical but worked four different doors with two locks each making coming and going a challenge every time. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay—loved the very quiet neighborhood and the beach a block away. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We hope to come back soon!

This house is an awesome location (a 2 minute walk to the beach) in a very quiet neighborhood. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the fun zone. It’s nicely decorated and recently updated. The mother in law suite is nicer in person and was great for my mother in law to have her own space! The kitchen was well stocked. One thing to note (they do share this in the portal after you book), there are no beach towels or gear, except a couple beach chairs. Parking was really plentiful on the street and there is one assigned parking spot.

Great location, steps to the beach in a quiet, nice neighborhood. Property was clean and well organized. Just a note one of the bedrooms/bathrooms is not attached to the house so this may be an issue with small children.

We really enjoyed catching up at the beach. Easy walk to town and very close to beach.

We have really enjoyed this house and location several times now. Planning on making it a yearly trek.

The Balboa Peninsula is one of the truly special parts of Southern California, and this home is a wonderful way to experience it.
