We love staying in the Morgantown community & this rental was perfect for just my husband & myself (& our cute little pup). There was plenty of space and if we come again, we’ll probably invite along friends or family to join us. So many dishes and cookware items to use. They kindly include two beach-ready wagons. We love the closeness to the beach without the significant price tag. Dog friendly is key for us & this space was great for us.
Only a few things I’d change: most of the rentals we’ve stayed at had a small stash of cooking spices and/or sprays, but this does not. Only salt & pepper! The other thing is the thread count of the sheets in the master is more like sandpaper, so if that matters to you, maybe bring your own set!
Like we said! Loved it & we’ll be back!!

This was our second year to stay at Diamondmine. It is a wonderful house and location for a good family trip. It’s an easy walk right across the sand to the beach. There are plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate a large group. The property manager and owner responds very quickly to any problem or request. The upstairs water wouldn’t warm up and I texted the property manager. There was a worker and the owner at the house very promptly. They did not hesitate and replaced the hot water heater in no time. Thanks again for all you did to make this another great beach trip.

The Sunflower was the ideal spot for our group of friends to vacation. We were amazed by the beautiful view and the location on the beach. The decks with comfortable rocking chairs were used daily as we watched the day start or end. The kitchen was well designed and equipped for a large group. We especially appreciated having a bathroom for each bedroom. Hope to visit again!

The house was wonderful and as listed. Plenty of beds and space for a large group. The screened in back patio was wonderful for lunches and dinners. The house was constructed with high end materials and very nice. Kitchen was well stocked, and the additional refrigerator and ice maker was awesome. It was wonderful to walk straight out on the beach anytime we wanted. For October, the beach was very private and the Gulf water temperature for October was perfect. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone wanting some great relaxation and peace time.

Location was great. Walk to beach was easy!! The downstairs main room was ideal for all 9 of us plus one old dog (not talking about myself)! Had great dinner out nearby. It was a wonderful week!!!

This home is perfect for a large group with small children. The beach access is in the front of the home and it takes less than five minutes to get there. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. The master bedroom is large with a very comfortable mattress. Our family of 18 had a great week and I highly recommend this property for your next vacation.

A quaint little beach cottage - ideal for two people for a long weekend. the proximity to the beach is nice but the beach access is more centrally located in the neighborhood so we rented a golf cart to make our commute a little easier.
The property was clean and manager was quick to respond to all of our questions/needs throughout our stay.
The kitchen could use some updated cookware/knives. The back door with doggie door was not operable at the time of our stay but manager said they were aware and were working on getting it repaired. wasn't a huge deal for us. overall, nice place for the price.

The house was somewhat smaller than it appeared in the listing but was very comfortable. The storm door to the back deck needs repair and if the wind caught and slammed it we could not open it from the inside as the handle was not attached. I do think the air conditioner needs attention. On the couple of days that it was in the upper 70's this house became quite warm and stuffy and the unit did not seem to be able to cool the house.
Thanks for your efforts on the updates. The work you put in is nice

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Gulf shores . The condo was clean and decorated beautifully for the Beach . We were walking distance to some of our favorite places . We will most definitely stay here again .

Wonderful location. Excellent hosts and very responsive to inquiries or requests. The house was clean and updated.
Only small thing was back door to deck/beach didn’t always want to latch and stay closed but nothing to get upset about. Kids and family were in and so much it was rarely noticed.
Would stay there again and recommend the host as well.

We were very pleased with our stay. We had a large group full of adults and children. We enjoyed the large inside space, large table and private beach. Renters were very responsive. Easy check in and out process!

The house was beautiful. The deck had comfortable chairs to sit and watch the dolphins. Kitchen had all the things we needed to cook with. The house was clean and we were well informed about some maintenance that had to be done. We would definitely rent this home again.

pros- very short walk to beach, good location
cons - no closets, very small master bedroom, no master bath counter space. Fortunately the weather in october was beautiful- sunny with high temps in low 70s. Was offended by sign on thermostat that stated ‘do not put a/c lower than 72 - unit will freeze and you will be responsible for the cost of the repair’ . Fortunately we rarely needed A/C , though if the outside temps were in the 90s, I would not have been happy if the thermostat could not go below 72. Sounds like it’s time to fix A/C. All things considered - we were pleased with accommodation and had a great time.

Beach house was great. The location was perfect and the beach was awesome. Only issue was that people not staying at any of the houses were allowed to park in the streets and block our driveway.
