The best cabins we have stayed at in Tahoe! Highly recommend!

We had the most magical stay at Songbird Cabin in Chambers, and I genuinely can’t recommend it enough!From the moment we arrived, the charm of the place just enveloped us. The cabin is beautifully renovated, blending classic Tahoe lodge vibes — warm wood paneling, exposed beams, and cozy décor — with all the modern comforts you’d hope for.Location-wise, it’s a dream for families. In the winter, you’re just steps from Homewood Mountain Ski Resort, making it incredibly convenient with kids. In the summer, the shuttle to Chambers Landing stops right outside, giving you easy access to the private beach, pier, and lakeside dining. The HOA amenities — pool, tennis courts, and bike path — made our days feel carefree and relaxing.Inside, the living room is bright and inviting, with a gorgeous stone fireplace and big windows that fill the space with natural light. The open-concept layout flows into a well-equipped kitchen with stone countertops, stainless appliances, and a spacious island — perfect for family meals or quick breakfasts before heading outside.Sleeping arrangements were ideal for a family trip. The primary bedroom on the main floor is peaceful and comfortable, and the upstairs layout with two queen beds plus a loft area with additional queen daybeds and trundles gave everyone their own space. The kids absolutely loved the loft!The outdoor areas were some of our favorites — the front deck is perfect for morning coffee or family dinners, and the seating in the backyard feels tucked away and private. It truly felt like our own cozy retreat in the woods.We also appreciated that the cabin is pet-friendly — bringing our dog made the vacation even more special.All in all, Songbird Cabin is the perfect family base for Tahoe adventures. Whether you're skiing, exploring the lake, or just relaxing in a warm, welcoming cabin, this place has everything you need. We created so many wonderful family memories here, and we can’t wait to return.

Great location for a weekend getaway and luckily dog friendly! Dog enjoyed it just as much as we did. So thankful the owner is kind enough to rent this gem of a unit out.

Beautiful Unit! It was in a quiet neighborhood making it easy to enjoy family time. Loved the remodeled wood/appliances work while still keeping the feel of a cabin in the mountains. Would 100% recommend!
