Had a great stay with family and friends. Great location; the nearby Commons Beach is wonderful. It's not too crowded and clean- a great place to spend an afternoon. There are also good shopping and food options, including grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance.
The house itself is well-stocked, especially the kitchen. The whole house was relatively clean; we did find some discarded socks in one of the rooms and some trash and dust under the beds, but nothing egregious. The house itself could use some TLC; it shows signs of wear and tear. There was a broken kitchen cabinet door, and the beds in the multi-bed rooms are quite squeaky, so some of our guests had a hard time sleeping.
Overall it was a great stay!

It’s all about location! Walkable to all downtown restaurants, coffee, Thursday farmers market, and commons beach/the lake. Easy to pop onto the trail and ride a bike or just walk. There is a short amount of hill walking back to the house, but totally doable since it’s only a few houses up. The hot tub was easy to use and the yard was fenced for the pup. There was plenty of rooms with TVs so parents can have a break. Standing fans were nice for the warmer days and opening the windows at night cooled the house easily. I’ve mentioned the front balcony has a baby gate or a dog gate that isn’t clipped just an accordion style, so if you have a clever dog or baby, they can easily walk around that gate and get into the street. Our 20 pound dog isn’t a cleaver escape artist so we didn’t worry.
The Safeway used to be closer to this house, but it has moved to the roundabout and during the summer they slow the traffic down to control traffic, but it’s only an eight minute drive to Safeway.

This is a great place for a large group. It’s family- and pet-friendly, and the location is excellent. We were able to walk to the beach, hike the nearby trails, and visit shops and restaurants without having to drive or worry about parking.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. We also loved the hot tub—it was relaxing both during the day and at night under the tall trees.

The home it a little dated & some doors were hard to lock (bathrooms) but has a nice size living room for our group of 10. The walk from the home to the main road to town is only about .25 miles. In less then 10min you are ether at a restaurant or at the lake. The walk might be a bit step for some but our group ranging from 3 to 70 did it several times each day.
