Beautiful house that had everything we needed for a extended weekend ski trip for a group of 8. The views are amazing from the rooms and the beds are very comfortable. There is space for everyone and games for kids. The only thing I would add is a bigger space heater for the room that is separate that you have to unlock outside, it definitely gets very cold in there. Otherwise our entire stay was a 10/10! The hot tub was an added bonus! I would definitely come back, wish we stayed longer!

Very unique architecture and views!

This house has a very cool look as it is built on a slope. Each level of the living spaces has different views of the nature. However, there were several issues related to the age and cleanliness of the house and brought the overall review to 4 stars.
1. The flooring between the dining room and the kitchen was not even. My daughter hit her toes when she walked past it.
2. One of the 2 slats under the upper bunk bed was broken. No extra linen to sleep on the couch so we had to send the lightest kid to sleep there and hope it wouldn’t fall.
3. The carpet for the stairs needs replacement, deep cleaning will not work.
4. Some of the dishes in the cabinet were dirty. There was dried pasta in the drainer and food scrape sticking to the spatula.
5. There was trash left in the garage. The office did offer to come pick up but we decided to move it ourselves as there was a big winter storm during our stay.
6. Lastly, the hot tub had a bad smell and there was no instruction to clean it.

This house was a great getaway if you want to ski and hike in North Tahoe. It was an easy drive to Alpine and Palisades and many trails nearby. The tw driveways was very convenient. The kitchen was great and there was lots of room for everyone. But be prepared to walk a lot of stairs!
