We were there with my son and his family. Our grandkids loved the ability to just walk out the door to the lake and especially the spa. The vicinity of the house was perfect to walk into Tahoe City. Very convenient to Emerald Bay, river rafting, hiking, and restaurants. We had an excellent time.

The viewperfect lakefront with a fantastic modern hot tub on the deck that I used morning and night. Easy to use gas bbq. Very comfortable beds and the largest flat screen in the great room for the World Cup and my PlayStation:). Great easy access bike and hiking trails right from the property. Bring hard soled water shoes like Tevas if you want to go into the Lake because it’s rocky. I spent a week there with my dog and was very happy. Only negatives were the kitchen is very dated: the microwave didn’t work (the host dropped off a loaner towards the end of my trip) and the dishwasher had standing water in it when I arrived (host handyman great guy fixed it). Only two burners worked on the stove and one was only super hot at any level. Bathrooms are pretty dated too. My unsolicited opinion is that kitchen and bathrooms could use some remodeling which of course will probably mean the rates will go up. I would probably bring my girlfriend there because she isn’t picky but would probably pick something more up to date to make things easier with kids or grandkids. But overall I loved it and the host personnel were really nice.

The location right on the lake is amazing, we would definitely stay again!

Just a few minutes out of Tahoe city this great find of a home is down a private drive and away from any street noise … breathtaking 180 degree unobstructed views …. Floor to ceiling windows , fireplace and a gorgeous great room… make this a family favorite ! I can't thank the owners enough for being pet friendly so we could bring our dog and all be together….. Also just one step to get into the home made it perfectly safe for our 92 year old Mom with a master suite downstairs with easy access … Tons of early morning sunshine with the water looking like diamonds makes having your coffee and breakfast outside a must!! Needless to say we have an amazing time here Thank you!!!
