We liked our stay in general, last minute they messaged telling that the dishwasher doesn’t work, ended up doing all dishes by hand - not the experience I wanted for $800/night accommodation

We had a lovely stay at the Nightingale Retreat in Tahoe City. The house was perfect for our family and the location is near skiing, dining -- and most of all the spectacular Lake Tahoe is only steps away. Highly recommend!

Great location for a great vacation. It's a very quite spot inspite of being very close to Tahoe City and West Lake Tahoe Blvd. The deck is a lovely place to relax up it the trees with a partial view of the Lake. Tahoe City Golf course has been restored to a great place to play for a reasonable price. Mountain biking is at the doorstep with a great trail up Granlobacken. Bring your wagon to ferry your Kayak a short walk to the private beach. As usual we had a wonderful time.

We had an incredible stay at this Lake Tahoe Airbnb! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the lake, close to the bike path, and right near a charming local bakery. It was the perfect spot for enjoying everything Tahoe has to offer.
The house itself was spotless and very well stocked, with all the essentials and more. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and having multiple bathrooms made it ideal for our larger family group. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home.
Outside, the setup was perfect for relaxing and entertaining: a great dining area, grill, and even a heater for chilly evenings. The garage was a bonus—stocked with yard games, a paddleboard, and a kayak, which we took full advantage of.
Overall, this home had everything we needed for a fun, easy, and memorable trip. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Nightingale is a well located spot with access to a private beach and dock. A 5-10 minute bike ride to The Bridgetender to the north, and Sunnyside to the south. The home is well appointed with all of the conveniences a family needs for a relaxing stay.
