Wonderful place to stay, beautiful! Note that Carnelian Bay neighborhoods are challenging to navigate in heavy snow secondary to winding roads, single lane snow clearance, and significant elevation changes moreso than other places on the lake (we've stayed nearly everywhere). If you're there for the snow, no matter how good your tires are, carry chains and beware the Ridgewood and Terrace Drive entrance to the neighborhood. They're steep enough that my 4x4 Tundra with good tires had significant challenges. It was a unique storm that had a significant amount of ice, but noting for fellow travelers.
Other than that, the place could not have been better. Well set up, everything worked perfectly, it was the perfect place for a group ski trip and we had a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful stay! I'm sure this property is equally beautiful in the spring and summer - it sits on a large lot with a huge fenced area. Great hot tub, comfortable beds, gorgeous private setting with a beautiful peekaboo view through the trees. Close to Tahoe City and easy to get to and from. Great stay.

We were very impressed by how cozy and clean the home was. Blankets everywhere. The kitchen was fully equipped (more than most bnbs I’ve stayed at). The hottub was clean and all the features were working well: lights, jets, and timer. Ping pong table-perfect condition. Honorable mention: WIFI is so fast! Supported 6 computers working from home and taking calls.
Only negative was that the driveway, being pretty steep, meant it was difficult/dangerous driving up with it frozen over. Wish there was salt accessible or the driveway being salted prior to arrival.
