Clean, cozy, close to the lake and restaurants. Would stay again

Beautiful and cozy cabin! The location is incredible and tucked away in a cute neighborhood. Walkable to Gar Woods and the lake. The kitchen was well equipped, comfortable furnishings and a great gas fireplace. The hot tub was key with all the snow and cold days we had. Overall, we had a great experience at this property. Would love to return one day!

We had an excellent stay. The house was comfortable and clean. The host was very friendly and shared great local tips and information. We loved the hot tub and all the open land behind the house. The area is quiet and peaceful, and the location is perfect. Just a 5 minute walk to the lake. Highly recommend.

Overall, this is a really nice Airbnb in a great location. Upon arrival it was very clean and well appointed for a longer stay. When the WiFi went down the host was communicative and able to work through it.
There were two reason that it wasn’t five stars (considering the price). The driveway and non-county road up was not plowed. Even with 4x4 and spending most winters in Tahoe a car wasn’t able to make it up and we spent the first few hours shoveling. The surrounding homes are all Airbnbs with plowed driveways, so it was clear that they opted to not have a private plow before check it.
The second and this can also apply to a lot of Tahoe homes but there was substantial mouse droppings throughout the house, with most in the kitchen. I usually wouldn’t mind but for a thousand dollars a night cleaning that wasn’t ideal.
