Great spot for a group ski trip! The place was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was amazing. Love the quiet, quaint area and the proximity to Tahoe.

Nice place, spacious and comfortable. Towels were still in dryer and not put away, carpet didn’t look vacuumed completely. Otherwise nice place for a family or group. Biggest gripe was that we weren’t able to check in on the first day due to I80 being closed due to a blizzard (apparently a big one too). Not expecting a refund but Tahoe getaways is strict with their policy. Would recommend getting travel insurance if booking this place during possible inclement weather.

Lovely stay in North
lake Tahoe near Truckee town and ski resorts. House was nice and warm in quiet neighborhood. Hot tub outside main bedroom was nice to use. Nice big open living room with dining table and kitchen. Perfect for 3 couples.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bear's Lair. The bear-themed decor was charming and cozy, and it really added to the whole mountain-cabin vibe. You could tell a lot of care and love went into every detail. The place felt warm, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. And we found the location to be perfect for enjoying nature as well as going out. We can't wait to go back and we highly recommended it for anyone looking for a cozy Tahoe getaway.
