We were delighted by Trestlewood's location and appointments. It was the perfect size for our family and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to family wedding venue at Schaeffers Mill. We would not hesitate to stay there again. As for TahoeGetaways-they were extremely communicative and helpful throughout the stay and it was a pleasure to rent from them. We had a wonderful stay at Trestlewood Lodge at Schaffer's Mill. The home was well-equipped and incredibly comfortable for a group of 6 (though it can accommodate 8 or even 9 comfortably). The decor was comfortable and quite high end; and it was great to spend time in the home on days when some of us chose not to ski. Bonus was discovering that the Sawyer restaurant - a great location - was only minutes away! Tahoe Getaways was also readily available to answer any questions and offered us an opportunity to have late checkout (which meant one more day of skiing!). Overall, this rental exceeded our expectations and we will hope to return!

Amazing home. Beautiful location. Convenient to mountains and town. Would return in the winter and any other season!

Our accommodations were terrific. We enjoyed having a gas fireplace and outdoor areas for enjoying the beautiful weather. Nice to have humidifyers for our use- especially since we're not used to the dry weather. Beds were very comfortable. The Sawyer restaurant was conveniently located close by for a craft cocktail or delicious meal. We had trouble with the cable TV and despite the efforts to correct them, we weren't able to use the family room TV during our visit. We did not take the time to have someone come out to fix it- and just used our computer instead.
