Beautiful tucked away cabin, close to everything. Cabin was quiet and spacious and cozy!

We enjoyed our stay at this Tahoe City house. It was spacious for three couples to be separate, but also lots of common space...accurate to the listing. It's a very comfortably decorated home, enjoyable to be in. The house was warm without a/c during the day (July) but did have a lot of fans and instructions on the best way to keep it cool, so it wasn't a problem. We walked into town every day for food, drinks, shopping, water activities (rafting, fishing, beach)—about half to 3/4 of a mile. It's only a couple houses away from a really nice trailhead for hiking, which we did. We cooked dinner several nights and the kitchen had all we needed. We used the grill a lot. We thought we would spend more time on the deck, but the mosquitoes were active. The house backs right up to woods but unfortunately we did not see bears during our stay! Though the house is dog-friendly, you wouldn't know any dogs have been there. We had a brief issue getting hot water when we first arrived and the management company was SUPER responsive and the issue was fixed immediately. There were some beach items in the house that weren't in the listing, which was a bonus. I recommend this house for those who enjoy walking and don't mind stairs. The main living area is a flight up from the front door and the driveway and walk into town has some incline.

Overall good, we saw 3 bears in the backyard near the bbq.

Terrific house! One note: there is no garage, and the driveway is pretty difficult to get up (even with a four-wheel-drive) in winter conditions. Fortunately there’s a ton of free flat parking across the street at the community center.
