Perfect house for our group! The house itself was great - had everything we needed, and the layout worked well for our group of 10 (4 adults / 6 kids). Gray's Crossing is a very nice community and it's close to downtown Truckee and all the dining and shops that we usually visit. Minus 1-star because of some of the issues encountered during our stay. Downsides during our 4-night stay: 1) no hot water for the sink in the second king bathroom on first floor 2) water trickled out in the sink, almost no flow 3) upstairs sink in the kids' bathroom was clogged 4) wad of hair in the shower upstairs 5) dead rat found under the bed in the second king bedroom. I did reach out to the property management company the morning after we checked in to discuss the issues regarding the clogged sink (we pulled it up - totally covered in gunk), the very low water pressure, almost no flow in the second king bathroom and no hot water. A plumber came out to fix the issues and was able to get them resolved. I also let them know about the wad of long hair in the shower my husband found when he was about to take a shower. The last night of our stay the kids were playing hide and seek and found a dead rat under the bed I was sleeping on. Took pictures, called the property management company and let them know about it, also texted the pictures. One of the guys pulled the sticky rat/mouse trap out from under the bed and threw it out in the garbage (because I was not about to touch it!). Finally, the house could use a new set of knives. I noticed there were only 3 knives in the wood block in the kitchen. The rest of the knives (6+) were missing. As we were cooking breakfast each morning and some days lunch, we could have used more.

This house is absolutely stunning!! So much space, so many little nooks, amazing kitchen we used for big family meals, great location right in Truckee so we got to spend a day at Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe, fully stocked with amenities, loved the outside area at night looking at the stars, and the primary bathroom has the dreamiest bath tub :) Would absolutely stay here again!
