We had a wonderful time. Very close to the lake only a couple minutes walk, and close to the north star mountain where we went skiing.
Hosts were great and the house was better than the photos!

Beautiful house in a gorgeous area, right next to the beach. About a 30-minute drive to Palisades or Alpine Meadows. The house itself is very clean, well maintained, and visually stunning.
A couple of minor things worth noting. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely squeaky, so even small movements caused a lot of noise, which was unexpected for a house of this quality.
Also, the neighborhood felt quite rigid. One evening around 10 pm, a neighbor walked through the backyard (not the front door), came up to the balcony, and knocked directly on the living room door to ask us to turn off the outdoor lights. That felt a bit intrusive and unsettling.
Overall though, the house is beautiful, clean, and we had a good stay.

A wonderful place to stay! We rented the cabin for the Christmas holidays and it was the perfect spot for our family of 7. Lots of snow while we were there so the cozy wood fireplace and hot tub were a plus! Also had a very well equipped kitchen. Spacious layout and had everything we needed for our family holiday. We would definitely stay again!
