Our extended family of 9 really enjoyed Lookout Lodge. The space provided ample areas for gathering together and also privacy when it was needed. The couch has been updated to fit more people as suggested in previous reviews. Perfect for family game nights! I loved the large dining table so we could all eat together. It was quite hot while we were there (upper 80’s each day) and without AC and due to very large (and beautiful!) uncovered windows it was pretty warm in the afternoons. Something to consider if you are sensitive to heat. The windows would not stay in the “up” position so we had to work hard to get cool morning and evening air in the house. I suggest bringing a good skillet if you will need one. While the rest of the kitchen was well equipped, the skillets were in bad shape. I ended up purchasing one. Being able to use the garage was wonderful for storing bikes and SUP. There is ample parking also. It’s a quiet street and we had some bears wander by the first evening!

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very close proximity to neat hikes and the beach. Cabin itself had a ton of space and the amenities were great. Had to contact host once and they were super responsive.

Great place to stay at for the weekend with friends! Place was as pictured, wish there was more sitting available but other than that it was great!

Booked this house for the whole family (6 adults, 4 kids, 2 dogs) over the holidays and it was perfect. Ample space to gather together in the living room/kitchen/dining area and the loft with games and a deck with hot tub were added bonuses. The views from the house are amazing, whether from inside the house through the many big windows, or from the decks where we could see across the lake. Very clean and everything matched the pictures. A great place to stay overall.
