Beautiful Views! This house is about 1/2 mile from Alpine Meadows base. Great location but we never found the free shuttle (I think I misunderstood a previous review and thought we could get a shuttle from the corner of our road to the base). One in our group who wasn’t skiing ended up being our free shuttle to the mountain. There is a free shuttle that runs back and forth from Alpine base to Palisades base all day. But we needed a ride to Alpine base since we didn’t want to walk in our ski boots carrying skis for 1/2 mile. The views at this place are beautiful from every room. The hot tub was working (and hot) with a nice path dug through the snow to it. Plenty of towels. Fun game room with pool and ping pong (paddles and balls provided). The kitchen is well stocked with plates, utensils, and cooking gear. Water is hot with good water pressure (very important after skiing all day!) The reasons I don’t give 5 stars are that the house is carpeted throughout - even in two of the bathrooms, which is odd and not quite sanitary. The third sub-level room twin beds are really cots and not suitable (or comfortable) for adults. The pillows could use an upgrade and the couch has pretty much lost all its springs. This house could use a few upgrades, but overall, we loved it and would stay again. FYI: the cell coverage is bad and we were never able to connect to the internet though we tried and tried. So beware if you have any work to do and need internet. Also FIVE stars for the management company! They were excellent and responsive. We had a key entry (not code) and being a large group, we managed to lock ourselves out with a baby early one morning. We ended up calling the emergency line because it was 7:30 and the office didn’t open until 9:00. They called back within 5 minutes and came to our rescue very quickly and cheerfully. We SO appreciated that!

Great cabin for a winter ski trip!

Great spot close to Alpine Valley—walking distance to the slopes if you're up for it! Awesome view to always remind you where you are. Very quiet. Hot tub was great to use. Only feedback is that the kitchen tiles are a little loud when stepping on them for anyone in the room directly below. Otherwise, highly recommend this place and we'd be happy to stay here again in the future.

Location, location, location. Being so close to the base of the Alpine lifts was awesome. Take base to base to palisades and skip the traffic and crazy parking.

Great location and spot for a larger group coming to ski at Palisades. Host was very responsive both before and during our stay.
