We had an amazing stay! The home is absolutely beautiful, with high-end finishes and thoughtful details throughout that made it feel both luxurious and comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for our group, which we really appreciated.
Our kids absolutely loved the bunk room—it was the perfect kids' suite and quickly became their favorite spot to hang out. The home was spotless, spacious, and in an incredible location with easy access to the lake. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our family vacation and would happily stay here again!

Tahoe Get Aways truly saved our vacation! At the last minute, Airbnb canceled our reservation because the host decided not to rent out the property. We were left scrambling to find a place that would accommodate our two dogs, and Tahoe Get Aways went above and beyond to help us secure this beautiful home. The house is even more gorgeous than the photos. It was spotless, beautifully stocked, and we immediately felt at home. It’s obvious the owners and Tahoe Get Aways take tremendous pride in maintaining the property and creating a wonderful experience for their guests. The home is one of six homes on the beach side of Tahoma, and the setting is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, we did have an uncomfortable experience with one neighbor. She expressed concerns about our dogs, including saying they had been digging, which simply wasn’t true. One of our dogs did an excited “happy dance” on the bark near the beach access, but there was no digging or damage. She also objected to the dogs being off leash near the water. As a devoted and responsible dog owner, I always prioritize my dogs’ safety and behavior, so the interaction left me feeling uneasy for the remainder of our stay.I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were being watched whenever we were outside. Because the road behind the property is a busy highway, I was already being especially cautious with my dogs, making the experience even more stressful. It felt as though the concern stemmed more from having short term renters nearby than from our dogs’ behavior. If you’re traveling without pets, I would absolutely recommend this property. If you’re bringing dogs, however, you may want to be aware of the neighboring situation. It’s unfortunate because the home itself is exceptional, and the owners and Tahoe Get Aways were wonderful to work with. It’s disappointing that one difficult person affected what otherwise would have been a perfect stay.

We had a group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) and had a previous AirBnB with another company booked in South Lake Tahoe. That company unfortunately canceled two days before our trip. We found this AirBnB with Tahoe Getaways and were able to book with them for the same cost with no hassle. The process was easy and the location was amazing. We could walk down the steps to the lake. The house was spacious and clean. The AirBnb we had included an outdoor sauna and a separate cold plunge tub. The pictures were accurate to how the place looked and we always got quick responses from the hosts. An example was one of the baths had a hot water handle that was stuck. They had someone out within the hour and fixed it for us. I’d highly recommend this AirBnB.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The home is beautiful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. It was the perfect size for our group of six, with plenty of space for everyone. The beds and furniture were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and having a private bathroom for each bedroom was a huge bonus.
The lake views throughout the house are stunning, and the easy access to the dock made the experience even more special. It truly felt like a magical place to spend time together. It was the best Airbnb experience we've ever had and we would absolutely stay here again.
