Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time over the labor day weekend (2014) at this property. Very spacious living room and modern appliances and BBQ. If your idea is to spend time with family and friends and socialize this is one of the good choices in Tahoe area. Few complaints hopefully they get fixed. 1. Main level gets too hot in the nights and we could not sleep there I guess something to do with heater settings. 2. No shades/shutters for windows in restroom kind of scares you as people traveling on the China Camp Road can literally see you through these windows (Although you can rarely see anyone going through this road as there are only two or three houses up hill).

Apart from the family room, there were two hang-out rooms in the lower level which worked well with kids. We stayed here with 3 families and it was perfect. There is a slope next to the house if going in the winter to do sledding right outside. It was under 15 mins to Northstar. Lots of privacy all-around and woods in the back of the house.
