This house is indeed very clean and spacious! Each family has our own space and bathroom which was really nice. Kids could play day in and day out behind the house among the trees and we adults could see them. Brought our own games for the young children so they helped. Loved the shuttle service that took us all to the village daily! Beds are OK…would suggest a plywood under the mattress in two rooms for my adult children kept on rolling into the middle, smile. With this needed attention, I give this site 5 stars!! Would love to rent it again someday.

Almost across the street from the Northstar childcare center and opposite the golf course. (The snow was MIA except on the high mountain so the kids could get out and run!) The new renovation was beautiful and the kitchen was super for our cooking family. Many thanks!

It's got a very homey feel and kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and tool you could ever need which was great since we love to cook big dinners when we are up in Tahoe. We stayed at a place over new years and it was obviously an investment property that no one ever lived in and it was so sterile and uninviting (Ridgeline Retreat, don't stay there!). The shuttle to Northstar is also a great perk. Couldn't be happier with our stay, look forward to coming back next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was just as described. This property is in a pretty area. We had 11 total guests and the house easily sleeps 12. One minor downside: the dining table really only has space for 6-8. Even with the extra table leaf, the room wouldn't hold 12 for dinner. However, there's a game table in the family room that seats 4, so we accommodated everyone for Christmas dinner. No problem. The best aspect of this house is its location. We could roll out of bed and be on the mountain in 30 minutes. The shuttle comes down the street often, so there's no waiting. Northstar Village is so close by I could shuttle the different kids back and forth multiple times a day with ease. We found that the property management provided timely and thorough instruction, and the house was clean upon arrival and stocked as promised. If you want a large comfortable house for a ski vacation, then this is a great property.
