We had an exceptional experience in this wonderful Tahoe Donner home. I almost don’t want to review because I’d rather not let the world in on such a great rental. The home is brand-new, squeaky clean and everything is in pristine condition. The furnishings have been chosen by someone with style who took the time (and spent the money) to properly curate a modern mountain retreat, from everything to artwork to textiles to stylish but comfortable furniture. The house was well-stocked with everything - fluffy towels, ample detergent for the washer, kitchen basics etc. The location in Donner can’t be beat, within a 5 minute drive from Donner Ranch for skiing or Downtown Truckee for hanging out in town. Several families can comfortably stay here given the floor plan with bedrooms and a family room on each level. We heard no noise whatsoever during our stay - so peaceful! Step out onto one of the many decks at night to enjoy amazing stargazing and really feel that you are in the Sierra.
