The Cobalt Cabin was great for our winter getaway. It felt like a great mix of cozy and modern: the kitchen has quality new appliances, the home is heated by a gas fireplace controlled by a Nest thermostat, the hot tub was lovely with the woods in the background, and the TV had access to multiple streaming/viewing services. While the linens all seemed clean, there was a bit of a lingering musty smell in the King bed where we slept. The host gave very clear instructions, if at times coming across a bit aggressive with the lengthy contract they required on top of the Airbnb booking. This was a splurge for us (coming out to over $700/night after fees), so it felt a bit annoying to be treated like children with all the contracts/emails/rules. It was definitely a nice place to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time, but for my money I might go with a hotel next time.
