The place is quite nice. I wish it had one more bathroom but overall, for an older style place, you couldn't ask for anything better. The place is clean, easy to find, close to everything, and is great in a big snow storm.
You are required to remove snow or you will be fined, so bring a shovel.
It's a bit odd that quiet hours for this place start at 8pm.
You also are required to sign a contract, which when reading the fine print, made me very uncomfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Vanni House. The house is renovated to the T! and the gas fireplace is wonderful. The hottub works great! All the appliances work and the water is hot from the tap. It was a lovely Christmas in the snow. Luckily the rain turned to snow! All the ski areas are close to this location. Thank you for letting us stay in this home. We would come here again in a heartbeat.

This cabin is very charming and has a fully equipped kitchen. It is near town. shops and the lake. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the gas fireplace. The large kitchen table was perfect for meals and a great place for doing puzzles, playing games, writing and art work. The front porch was a wonderful place to relax at sunset. The hot tub was an added bonus.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose Vanni house because of the location. You cannot beat the convenience of being a block and a half from the lake, beach, shops, restaurants, marinas and the outlet to the Truckee River (rafting companies you can walk to). The house was perfectly clean and comfortable. Yes, there is one bath and it's downstairs but that is a minor inconvenience when compared with all the other comforts of home plus the hot tub. Every appliance was updated, clean and many utensils and cooking items were supplied. There is a grocery store .2 miles from the home. It was perfect.
