had a wonderful 7 night stay at Deer Hollow. House does not sit in the sun (which is important without air conditioning) but is bright and airy. Never got overheated though we had warm days. Kitchen efficiently stocked with gadgets and a whole pantry left free for storage of our things. Beds were okay and we slept well; quiet neighborhood. Garage was nice to have to store our bikes. Hottub a great treat after bike riding. Working with management company a breeze.

We love Northstar in the summer! Not too crowed and you can easily explore Truckee and Kings Beach. Deer Hollow was perfect for our family of 6, Grandma and Grandma in the master upstairs, Mom, Dad, Audrey 6 and Adley in the bedrooms downstairs. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed. We appreciated the access to the Northstar association pool with snack bar and recreation room. Quick drive to Northstar Village for dinner or you can take the Northstar shuttle.

Looked at a number of places at Northstar and kept coming back to this one because it had all of the amenities that I was looking for. Deer Hollow did not disappoint. The rental process was easy. Everything was ready on time. The cabin was very clean and looked as it appeared on the website. It was very roomy for all 7 of us. We didn’t crowded and had plenty of personal space. Management was responsive when we had questions. If I were going to buy a home in the mountains, I would like one just like this one. I would consider rent this home again.

I would give six stars if possible. First of all the property is unbelievable. Completely surrounded by trees, with a private hot tub on the back deck, and a bus to pick you up and take you skiing from a phone app... Not to mention the customer service with Tahoe Getaways was top notch. Everything in the house functioned properly, and there were plenty of extra blankets pillows etc. The two car garage was perfect for all the wet snow gear. The heat works, the windows all open, and it couldn’t be in a more peaceful neighborhood. Ideal for groups of five or more!

The place was exactly what we needed for my family. Open floor plan, lots of light, very clean with appropriate furnishings (not expensive, but all in very good shape and well maintained, and it didn't feel cheap). Excellent amount of common space for 6 people with two generous double-couch seating areas. And the hot tub was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again.
