good overall

This cabin at The Franciscan Lodge is a hidden gem on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe! We enjoyed a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views, and loved watching unforgettable sunset at the private beach. It is located close to Kings Beach, and Northstar Resor This cabin is a perfect escape for us!

This cabin exceeded our expectations! The private beach is about 20-30 steps away with breathtaking views. The cabin Inside is cozy and roomy! Loved its convenience with close distance to Kings Beach, and Northstar. Their is also a regional park at the next traffic light with fairly new playground that is large and peacefully sits among woods. There is a few restaurants and cafes nearby at walking distance. We walked to Jiffys Pizza, liked their food and staffs were very friend. The cafe right across the street in front of the complex has decent breakfast offerings, not the best but was a good spot to grab morning coffee and walk on the beach. There is also a large Safeway, about 5 mins away towards King beach direction with a lot of options for quick groceries/snacks. will definitely return!
