Hideaway in the Highlands is a beautiful home, with spacious accommodations for the whole family. They have anticipated every need and offer lots of possibilities for family recreation.
The kitchen is outfitted with excellent equipment - Ironclad pots and pans; Henckels knives; plenty of dishes, glassware and pretty much everything you need to cook just as you do at home. The only thing we had trouble with was the coffeemaker, even though both of my daughters in law have Ninja's at home, it took a day or two to figure this one out.
I would like to thank Dan at Tahoe Getaways, especially, for his responsiveness in helping our stay be as good as it could be (my son had a ski accident mid-stay).
But, overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this home!

This home is gorgeous and has an awesome location. My family stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The hosts were so helpful! There was a potential snow storm in the forecast during the time that we would be arriving to the house and our hosts kindly suggested safe travel times and walked us through what to expect during our drive from Sacramento. We were unfamiliar with the ski options in the area so hosts provided detailed info on the resorts and what would be best for our family. We enjoyed the fireplace in the living room and the large dining room table. We cooked meals almost every night and had a full Thanksgiving dinner during our stay. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The beds in all the rooms were comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillow & blankets if needed. We had (3) teenage boys in our group that loved the game room. Overall this home is gorgeous and SO comfortable. I would certainly stay here if fortunate enough to visit Tahoe again.

10/10 no notes. This place is perfect. It’s the nicest, most well appointed Airbnb I have ever stayed in. It’s PHENOMENAL for kids - comes with plastic plates / cups, great bunk room, etc. we will be back!!!

This home is well laid out, with a large open area comprised of the living room, dining room and kitchen. This made it easy for our entire family to hang out and be together. The kitchen is so well-stocked, with ample plates, glasses, wine glasses, silverware, food storage containers, flour, sugar, condiments—this made it easy to serve meals and meant that even with the dishwasher yet to be run, there was plenty of everything for our next meal. The house is tastefully furnished. The game room and hot tub were much appreciated by our family. And we could walk to the open space for hiking. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. We enjoyed our stay.
