The Bears Lair in Tahoe Donner was an exceptional rental property that exceeded all of our expectations. The fully stocked kitchen made it a breeze to cook meals, and the amazing hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day on the slopes. The amenities provided were top-notch and the board games and video games added an extra touch of fun for the whole family. Sitting by the fireplace was a truly lovely experience and added to the cozy atmosphere of the home. The large garage was a great bonus, as it provided shelter for our car during our stay. We will certainly stay at the Bears Lair again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation rental.

This home is beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen had dishes, glassware and cookware you would find in a nice home, with all cooking accessories, too. Towels and bed linens were clean and nice, washer and dryer were brand new. (or seemed to be) The layout of the house is perfect for a family vacation, it is in a quiet neighborhood and the deck is peaceful and quiet, too. It is easy drive to the pools or lake, too. Check-in was easy. We wish we could have been there all summer.

The house was amazing. Clean and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for my whole family. The hot tub was a real treat!

We were here for a long weekend of skiing, and this home was a terrific base. It is attractive and comfortable, with well-designed spaces. The kitchen is well-equipped and everything is very clean. Lately some of the rental homes we have stayed in have been stingy with practical supplies, like kleenex, soaps, towels, plastic wraps, foil, kitchen sponges, etc. All of those and more were stocked at Bear's Lair. So appreciated! Communication was super straightforward with the property management company, and everything went smooth with our stay. Nice to have access to the garage for our cars too, since the driveway is pretty steep and was icy during our visit. Will definitely return when the opportunity presents!

Perfect house for a ski vacation. Great location. Very well-stocked kitchen. Layout worked really well for hanging out, cooking and watching TV. Brand new hot tub sits on the back deck below beautiful pine trees. Convenient to grocery store and skiing. Comfortable beds. Good wifi. TV with all applications (just put in your acct info).
