We enjoyed an excellent week at Northstar and were very comfortable at Big Springs! The snow was a little late this year and since it was raining, we all (13 of us) spent a lot of time inside the cabin. The layout is great for several families to spread out. The cabin is very clean and in good condition. I'm putting this cabin at the top of the list for next year.

Best home we’ve rented in Tahoe! Kitchen was well appointed and home layout fit our needs perfectly. Definitely recommend for anyone staying in Truckee area.

The condo had everything we needed, comfy beds, cooking items, extra blankies, plenty of towels, dish soap, laundry soap, TP, paper towels and a shuttle to Northstar. We saw the guys snowplowing and shoveling every day. Beautiful views and a little stream outside of the balcony. We bought a box of fire logs and enjoyed the fireplace nightly. We did not go to the hot tub, but it is worth noticing it is pictured and listed as an amenity, but if anyone wants to use the pool, hot tub or game room, it is 10 per person per day. It is not actually included in eve pricing for the stay. The amount of steps along the walkway was not an issue for our family, but if someone has a problem with their heart, hip or knee (anything that causes a walking hardship), they should understand this is not a spot where you park and walk directly to the condo. The window blind in the front first floor room and the slider door of the living room were not functional, but we made it work. Overall, we were very happy and would definitely choose it again.

A wonderful house! A very cozy living room with a wood burning fire, a perfect place to spend holidays with family and friends.

Great stay, clean and cozy. Looked just as pictured. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. They gave clear and easy instructions to get in and the place was very spacious for 4 adults and 3 children.
Just a few cons:
1. We were there during a pretty bad snow storm and it wouldve been helpful if there was some kind of tools to help us scrape all the snow off our car
2. It was a inconvenience we had to run to the store cause there wasnt enough toilet paper left for 7 people that was staying for 4 nights
3. Last I wish there was board games at the cabin because during the snow storm the wifi was down pretty much our whole stay and the tv wasnt working without it

Lovely home. Wonderful great room with fireplace and large sofa for lounging and family time. Small kitchen! All bedrooms on second floor so if you have aging parents this may not be the place. All shared bathrooms. Lovely hot tub on back deck. No snow removal other than driveway - we shoveled A LOT.
