I've stayed here two times with family (once in the winter and once in the summer) and have enjoyed this house immensely both times! It's a beautiful place with high ceilings, woodsy furnishings, fantastic views, and all the comforts of home. You can tell that whoever owns it actually uses it and gave it some personal touches and upgrades that other rentals simply don't bother with. Wouldn't hesitate to go here on a group trip again! Here are some highlights:Cleanliness: The house was pristine. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless (and I'm pretty picky on this point), the linens were fresh, and all other eating/sitting/living areas were tidy and well-cared for.Kitchen: This kitchen is fantastic, I wish mine were this nice! It's got new and top of the line appliances and it is big enough for multiple people to be cooking/prepping meals. It was stocked with a ton of utensils, dishes, glassware, serving ware, etc. as well as some necessary dry goods like salt, pepper, and olive oil. You have every tool you need to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you want to. Also the big fridge was nice to have for the full week!Bathrooms: These bathrooms are recently updated and very spa-like which was wonderful after a hard day on the slopes. When we had shared one of the bathrooms with another couple, there were plenty of places to tuck your stuff out of the way when someone else was using it. Very handy! Also loved that they provide quality towels, solid TP(you know, not the singly ply crap), and small toiletries in case you forget your shampoo or soap.Hangout Space: The upstairs living area is perfect for a big group to hang out in. There's a big back porch with a table and seating outside for the summer BBQs. Inside, the kitchen, dining room, sitting area, and tv area are all connected so you can see what's going on when everyone's up there but everyone can have their own space (e.g. kids watching tv in the open air den, teenagers lounging on the couches in the living room, parents in the kitchen). There's also a cool rumpus room that's separate from this main area with a ping pong table and other games if you need a separate place for kids (or adults!) to play in, as well as a closet filled with board games. Privacy/Noise: On big group trips when everyone has different schedules or bedtimes, it's especially important that you don't feel like you're tiptoeing around each other, which is why it's quite nice that all the bedrooms are carpeted (and it's nice PLUSH carpet, not a landlord special), I think it really helps insulate noise and feels so nice in the winter! Views/Vibes: I had to work remotely a few days while up there in the winter and the views from the dining table made it way more enjoyable than working on vacation usually is. 10/10 cozy cabin vibes.Parking/Location: The driveway is big and I think you can fit at least 2-3 cars, probably 4. It's only 5-10 min from grocery stores, shops, and restaurants, which is super nice when you've traveled all day to get there or are exhausted after skiing all day.
