The house was gorgeous, spacious, and so family friendly. I enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen, the large dining room table and the spacious seating. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day in the snow. Four bedrooms and three full bathrooms make this house a place of ease and comfort. Couldn't recommend it more; we will definitely be booking this house again!!!

The Matterhorn is a great Tahoe Donner cabin. Things we loved: * Big place, spacious, comfortable * Very modern amenities such as a Nest thermostat, TV with Tivo + Apple TV + Nintendo Switch, very nice plates/dishes/etc. * Loved the location as we were there to take kids to Donner Ski Ranch - literally 3 minutes away Not too many negatives. I don't think there is a garage door clicker (or at least, I couldn't find it) which was a little bit annoying for coming/going. And there is no good sled hill in the backyard area. But those are nitpicks: it is a great place.
