We had a full house with 9 adults, 4 kids/babies, and 2 dogs and had a great time. The house is spacious and beautiful, and the view of the lake was even better than we expected based on the pictures! We really enjoyed taking in the view while using the hot tub. Downtown Truckee is a short drive away with lots of restaurants and little shops.

Really nice home, especially for a group! Laid out well with tons of room to sleep and hang out - great for kids and adults, plus a total bonus that its pet friendly.
Comfortable beds and sofas, lots of linens and towels. Hot tub is awesome, especially the location on the deck overlooking an absolutely stunning view.
Great spot on the side of the house to sled in the winter and lots of deck room which would be amazing in the summer.
Reminder to bring/buy kitchen basics and bathroom items like shampoos and soap, laundry detergent, and dishwashing tabs — they leave one or two to get started but you’ll likely need more.

Wonderful place!

Beautiful setting - spacious decks on two levels with great Donner Lake views, privacy and hot tub. Lots of comfortable living spaces on three levels. Well equipped open kitchen. Luxurious sleeping arrangements for all. Short drive to Rec Centers and downtown Truckee. Steady freeway background noise sounds like waterfall.
