We loved everything about this property! The design and amenities are wonderful, the bed in the master suite was amazing, and our dog loved sitting on the deck and looking for wildlife (not that he saw any, but hope springs eternal). Didn't use the hot tub but would be nice to have for winter time. If you visit in the summer be sure to hike the east perimeter trail, it's a great morning wake-up activity. My only suggestion is for the towels to be replaced. We will be back!

We had a lovely time with our life long friends. The house was nice, clean and met our needs for dining in. Unfortunately, it was very hot weather, no AC, however thankfully there were ceiling fans and other fans for our use.

Great house for both kids and adults, plenty of space, good amenities, close to both downhill and cross country, loved the hot tub for post skiing, it even snowed while we were there and dog friendly!

This was a wonderful place to stay. We were a family of 3 and a family of 5. The couch is so spacious we all had plenty of room to relax together in front of the fireplace. The playroom downstairs with twin bed was great for the kids and there was even a fun train set for the kids to play with. Great having the hot tub on deck. We had such a great time and would definitely come back!

This was our first "vacation" in about 5 years. The house was unique, very comfortable and well-stocked. Loved the extraordinarily large master suite and mud room entry! We look forward to staying here again, hopefully soon. Caveat for those not used to Tahoe - there were two blackouts while we were in Tahoe (during the huge atmospheric river event the weekend of 10/23-25). One for 12 hours, one for 24 hours! We were told blackouts can happen quite often during winter months. Luckily I always travel with battery candles, which came in VERY handy staying in an unfamiliar house. Travelers might consider bringing a few with them during the winter!

My sister and I like to have our families meet in a different city every year. This year we chose Truckee/Tahoe and this house met every single one of our needs. Location wise, we weren't more than 30 minutes away from any of the activities we had planned in the area. Easy access to Safeway and local restaurants. The house had plenty of room for all of us to be in the same room for games and movies, but also enough room for everyone to spread out. There was not a single thing we needed in the kitchen that wasn't already there. Going in the hot tub every night before bed was a huge hit with the kids. Lots of sheets and towels, the Tahoe Donner Rec offerings were great, and the wildlife was everywhere but nothing that wanted to eat us. This was truly one of the best vacation rental experiences we've had.
