Great setting for a quiet getaway. Nestled in a community full of large Sugar Pines. Spacious accommodations that are very comfortable with a modern kitchen and large deck to hang out on while you BBQ. Close to the historic town of Truckee and Kings Beach. Great place!

This mountain vacation home is an absolute gem! It's incredibly easy to find, yet once you're there, it feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful. The deck is one of the best features – perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation.The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you might need. The beds are super comfortable.The location couldn't be better. You're just a short drive from Kings Beach, Truckee, and Lake Tahoe. This place is perfect for a cozy retreat. Highly recommend!

We had the best time at this cozy and charming cabin! It’s great location offered easy access to the mountains for skiing as well is to town for coffee, meals, or running errands. The well-decorated and spacious rooms and bathrooms had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking! I sometimes don’t get great sleep on trips or higher altitudes, but the beds were super comfy and I slept like a rock. The living room layout and efficient floorplan was perfect for hanging out with friends or family. This home exceeded all our expectations and we can’t wait to return again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sleeping Bear Lodge on our couples trip. You can tell the owners carefully considered every detail when beautifully designing the home and filling it with a lot of love. The open concept living / dining room was so fun for a game night, the kitchen has everything you need, the beds are so comfy and the expansive deck has gorgeous views. The location was perfect - quick drive to Kings Beach and Truckee. The surrounding area and trails of Northstar were beautiful too. We hope to come back and take advantage of the skiing in the winter, but would highly recommend this cabin year round.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is quite convenient for driving from Bay Area, and it’s an easy shuttle to the mountain if you’re skiing. If you don’t want to ski, the house is very close to beautiful paths for snowshoeing or even just walking the golf course. No shortage of outdoor options even for non-skiers. The house itself is cozy, well-stocked and thoughtfully decorated. It’s the perfect place for a group trip or a family trip with the kids. I particularly enjoyed the room with bunk beds and I’m sure kids would too. I hope to return to this cabin again, and would consider coming back in the summer as well.
