What a great house! Super fun decor and lighting, hot tub in an ideal location, well stocked kitchen for celebrations of all kinds. The appliances are a bit outdated but work fine.
The Northstar transportation app makes it so easy to call a shuttle and get around, to and from the village and rec center. The TART bus is free and easy too - we took the train from the Bay Area to Truckee and had no problem navigating public transport to the house.
Only cons are the pretty hefty cleaning fee - be sure to check the total before you book as it ends up being about twice as much per night as the list price.
We’ll definitely consider returning next time we come to Northstar. Thank you!

Mosaic Magic was a great fit for a weekend ski getaway. Great location in Northstar - very convenient shuttle service to and from the resort. The decor is a little quirky, but also charming! There was plenty of room for two families and the inside mud/ski room was very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay at this property. Its quirky decor is charming. Great space for 2 families. Plenty of room for everyone and the hot tub was great for apres ski! Would definitely rent again.

2 families of 4, would book again! Location and property match description. Auto lock on wet room was awesome for getting the family out of the house and keeping gear outside of the living space. There is a shuttle spot at the end of the block but it looked like the shuttles would pick people up from and drop off at their houses if you stand on the curb or ask on the way back. We did the 4+ Village View reserved lot for free parking and access to our car. You need to book parking the day prior on weekends. The back deck hot tub was awesome after a day on the slopes. We visited during snow season but this location overlooks the golf course and the 19th hole (or whatever they call the on range bistro.) The place has all you need to cook meals and is 7 miles from Truckee but note the drive after the slopes let out...45min traffic jam so plan accordingly.
