We loved our stay! The space was lovely. We visited Lake Tahoe to ski Palisades. The location was perfect. Close to the resort & nearby shops & restaurants. We loved the hot tub & how peaceful the forest was surrounding the house. We even saw a bobcat one day! Thanks for hosting!!

We’ve stayed at a few spots and this place was by far the cleanest. Although on the smaller side it had a very well equipped kitchen which made our stay all the more better as we pretty much got snowed in and cooked every meal ourselves rather than venture out. It was a decent size for two adults and one young kid and the house is so well insulated it felt warm without the heater on high making it pleasant.
The only downside was the broken sofa bed which was a bummer as one of us had to sleep on it without opening. Also be aware that when it snows hard like it did when we were there it comes up to as high as the windows so you literally can’t see anything out and the house doesn’t have a garage. Just something we only belatedly realized.
One last thing - the host kindly reached out a day earlier given the extreme weather forecast with an offer to check in early which we greatly appreciated!!

Our stay at this location was beautiful and more than we had imagined. The Airbnb was clean, had all the amenities, including sleds. It was comfortable, clean, and the surrounding area was so peaceful. There was a beautiful hike a short 5 min walk away from the Airbnb. I highly recommend this location if you’re looking to decompress, sitting in the hot tub, surrounded by snow and silence, was everything. Our host was quick to respond, and very helpful.

Great location, close to civilization and regional and national parks. Well equipped and maintained cabin. Everything you need for a Tahoe vacation!

Amazing home away from home for a family of 4. Hassle free check in and check out. Had all the necessities and more, to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was as described. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood with great neighbors. Thank you Tahoe Getaways. We will definitely book with you guys again for our next trip to Tahoe.

Cute and fresh cabin, lots of natural light and well appointed kitchen for cooks including spices and various pots and pans, even sharp knives!. Minimalist but cozy decor and furnishings, clean. Only a block from the regional park- a huge perk for hiking, skiing, sledding, dogs. Quiet and wooded neighboorhood, the owners have provided guests a really lovely and thoughfully designed home to stay in.
Extra spa/beach towels were included, laundry detergent included, note that the grill and direct doors to patio are off limits in winter.
We will return!
