The house was comfortable and great for hanging out, cooking, etc. Working with Tahoe Getaways was a mixed bag - the additional pet fee was not clear at time of booking, and they charge exorbitant rates for the option of early check-in and late check-out. Staff were quick to respond to questions, but Tahoe Getaways also spammed us with a LOT of emails and messages prior to check-in that honestly made it difficult to find and keep track of information. The check-in time was fairly late (4pm) and check-out was fairly early (10am), and the list of clean-up tasks was pretty excessive, so overall value for money was somewhat mediocre.

The cabin is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We loved the living room and how amazing the view is around the cabin and from the windows. The hot tub location is awesome, we really enjoyed it as well as the fireplace. The neighborhood is quiet and streets well maintained.

Nice to find this house. Very cute decor. Very comfortable for a family of 4 and dog. Had all necessary items, even a coffee grinder! The porch is enclosed for the dog which was nice to not have to put him on a long leash for him to get some fresh air. The hot tub was the winning factor. Also, even though the house faced a “busy” road, I appreciated the general distance from neighboring houses. Thanks for sharing the home.

Perfect location with privacy and just a few minutes drive to Tahoe Donner Downhill ski resort and the charming town of Truckee. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was well supplied for our dog and young grandsons including dog bowls, dog bed, high chair, portable crib and kid’s dishes. Tahoe Getaways was very quick to respond and had very pleasant staff.
