We had 3 families stay on premises and it felt spacious and homey at the same time. While it is a ski-in/ski-out, it didn't quite work for us as many of our group were still beginner/green-level, so had to trek up to the drop off at the Ritz to ski. Added a little more hassle, but once our skills improve, we would consider renting again. management was very responsive and kind.

Lovely place - expensive (Zillow estimates this is roughly a $3.6M property) but so close to the centre of Northstar. The weather wasn't kind to us in that the snow hadn't arrived and the season was delayed - we were able to ski inBoreal though. I can only imagine how much better it would have been had the ground been white! We'll come again next year and see. The house/cabin is large and spacious and lacks for nothing. Ours was a family reunion, coming from US and Isle of Man, eight people, and it was lovely. Access to communal facilities like pool and a dedicated hot tub is a bonus, and handy for kids and adults alike. Non-refundable, if you have to change or cancel your travel plans, so be aware of that, but as a stay, it's right up there with the best. Tahoe Getaways staff were lovely and helpful too, although a 10am checkout can be a bit of a stretch! Payment can extend that, and you can kind of understand that ... it's a big house to clean before the next folk arrive. And we saw a bear and a coyote, which is very exciting! Thanks guys.

Beautiful home, great for families, closevto the pool/hot tub, well equipped kitchen

Property was beautiful, very clean and in a perfect location. It slept two families (10 total) very comfortably. The Treehouse addition with pool, workout facility, happy hour, games, outdoor basketball, grill was definitely a wonderful addition to our experience. Would definitely stay here again.

The rental process was easy and quick. Immediate confirmation was important to us due to late booking.
