Everything was perfect! The house was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The location was walking distance to Tahoe City and only a 15 minute drive to Squaw. We had a blast and are already planning our next trip.

The property lives up to the rental posting. Very convenient to Tahoe City two short blocks. Comfortable beds and linen. one or two comments for improvement would be the parking as it was a hassle to park the cars in the garage as there is not a code to access the garage door, so you have to get key from lock box to enter house then go downstairs to open garage door. Same goes in reverse when leaving the house. other info would be for those who like cooking, a great kitchen lots of space and plenty of cooking ware and utensils. However you should consider bringing some standard cutting knives as the knives are all serrated. Otherwise a great time had by All

The kitchen should have been stocked with salt, pepper, plastic baggies, tin foil, etc. just the common day items. For the price we paid we should have gotten a few amenities. Very frustrating to work in a kitchen with NOTHING.

As new grandparents, we were a bit reluctant to go with a 6 weeks old baby for a stay at Tahoe. We are from Delaware and our son's family lives in San Francisco. Our son assured us it would be fine, the baby was a good traveler and everyone would be more relaxed than if we invaded his house for a more than an overnight. It was a perfectly wonderful spot to have a family reunion. Our daughter-in-law could relax, we all had fun preparing leisurely dinners, and we enjoyed beautiful sunny, fall weather. The house was delightful, surrounded by pine trees, close enough for leisurely walks into town for shopping and dining, or hiking by the lake. The layout of the house provided privacy for everyone, and it lent an ambiance that made cooking fun for all of our quasi-chefs. Even the baby enjoyed his stay.
