"We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tahoe Get Away home, conveniently located just a stone's throw from Northstar ski resort. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the ambiance and the breathtaking scenery that surrounded us. The house itself was impeccably maintained, with comfortable furnishings that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the hot tub, perfect After exhilarating days spent skiing at Northstar, there was nothing more relaxing than unwinding in the warm, bubbling waters under a canopy of stars. It was the perfect way to soothe our tired muscles and relish in the serene beauty of Lake Tahoe. We were also delighted by the convenience of the gas grill, which allowed us to enjoy delicious grilled meals with a view. It was a joy to cook in the crisp mountain air, surrounded by nature, making our dining experiences truly memorable. Overall, our stay at this Lake Tahoe home exceeded all expectations.

Really enjoyed our stay in Schaffer's Mill. Centrally located, quick access to downtown Truckee, Northstar, and nearby grocery stores. Well appointed home that comfortably accommodated our 8 adults and 1 child. Plenty of communal space downstairs and rooms provided ample personal space. Hot tub was an added bonus.

We had a great stay at this cozy house. It was nicely furnished, very clean, and the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. We really enjoyed our time here.

We had an excellent stay at this Lake Tahoe home. The place was clean, comfortable, and very well set up for both families and pets. The kitchen was great and well stocked, which made meals at home easy and enjoyable. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet the location was very convenient for getting to the slopes and enjoying skiing in the area. Parking was easy, and the views were a great bonus. The host was responsive and the stay was smooth from start to finish. One recommendation for winter travelers: be sure to have an AWD vehicle—ideally an SUV or larger—given the potential for heavy snow accumulation and icy road conditions. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
