I’ve stayed at this cabin several times, and it’s always such a fantastic experience! The cabin is beautifully decorated and has a cozy, inviting vibe that makes it perfect for a fall getaway. The location is ideal—you’re close to amazing hiking trails, North Star Village for fun amenities, and Truckee for shopping or grabbing a meal. Fall is my favorite time to visit. The weather is perfect, and the area is stunning with all the fall colors. The hosts are always wonderful—so friendly and responsive, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back. If you’re looking for a relaxing and convenient spot to enjoy the beauty of Tahoe, this cabin is it. Highly recommend!

Very convenient shuttle (use the app)

We've rented many homes in Tahoe, and in Northstar in particular. This was by far the best experience we've had renting a vacation home. The home is kept in immaculate condition, felt very much like we were staying in someone's primary residence. The home itself is gorgeous and kept in remarkable condition, it feels like a model home. The details are unlike what I've experienced renting a vacation home. From the linens, to the dishes and cookware, it was not only well stocked, but everything was pretty much in brand new condition. Super well furnished, a very comfortable home to hang out in. Other than one night out, we pretty much took advantage of the nice kitchen, and BBQ grill on the deck, and ate in. There is a great hiking trail that takes you up to the Village, and the trail head is right next to the house. Of course all the amenities of Northstar are a bonus (shuttle, use of pool, pickleball courts, gym). We had an amazing time, and this will be our go-to vacation pad for Tahoe ( I hope owners never move back in full time :).
