Wonderful home in an area full of beautiful views walking trails and fresh air. The home is immaculate and has everything you need. The outdoor space provides great options to entertain and enjoy yourself.

Our stay was top notch! The home is beautiful, comfortable and very well stocked. Everything you need in the kitchen (plus more!), hot tub, heated bathroom floors and kids bunk room were the highlights. Easy drive to North Star and downtown Truckee. Plenty of room for two families. Highly recommend.

What a treat this vacation was! The house is amazing. The bedrooms are SO comfortable with their en-suite bathrooms, luxury linens and towels, and tvs. We loved the kid room with bunks and a ton of space for them to chill after a long day. I felt like I was at a 5 star resort. I loved waking up and having coffee on the back patio. (The kids preferred the back patio for making s’mores in the fire pit at night!) The location is amazing. In 24 hours we biked along Lake Tahoe, ate and played in downtown Truckee, sat by the resort-style pool and enjoyed a little pickle ball and tennis. Everything was at our fingertips. Loved loved this vacation. Highly recommend this house!

Couldn't ask for anything more in a Tahoe rental! The location is optimal, a 10 minute drive to downtown Truckee restaurants and shops and North Star is a very short, easy drive for skiing in winter. Also appreciated that Shaffers Mill is not far from the highway, making it faster to get in and out of during heavy Tahoe traffic. The community is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. There is a nice grocery store and a mountain hardware store across the street, which makes it easy to pick up whatever you need!The home is spacious and open. I appreciated how new and clean everything is. The large mudroom is great for all of the bags, jackets and boots...washer/dryer right there. The two master suites are very accommodating for adults, each with their own bathroom (double sinks). The beds are comfortable with soft bedding and I loved the heated floors in the bathroom! The bunkroom sleeps kids comfortably and there is also a large couch and tv so the kids can hang out upstairs while adults are downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking large meals and a large walk in pantry. Seating is ample with lots of bar stools and a long dining table. The outdoor area in the back is very peaceful and the clean hot tub is a plus! Overall, the house is well thought out with a lot of light, is extremely comfortable, clean and relaxing. I would definitely rent it again!
