This home will be a return visit for us. Secluded yet with amazing amenities and a short drive to Truckee and the beach. We didn’t want to leave. I do suggest other guests pack an eye mask if the mountain morning sun will bother you!

Aside from the kitchen lacking basic cooking tools that all other rentals have had for us, this place was nice. Like most places at Tahoe, it has no air conditioning, and the home broils during the day. The home only came with 2 fans for a 3-bedroom space, so we had to purchase 3 fans to spread throughout and try to reduce the temperature which reaches 85-90 degrees until sundown. Management was responsive to our requests for kitchen essentials and additional fans. The bunk beds were locked and unusable, which disappointed my children.

Wonderful spot. ACTUAL ski-in, ski-out, as in I strapped on my snowboard from the back patio, hopped onto Home Run, and slalomed down to Highlands Gondola. Vice versa (Zephyr lift to Home Run) to hop back inside this gorgeous, modern, airy condo with supertall ceilings. Fast and reliable internet, easy walk to gym (which opens at 7am). Be aware that actual trailside means the groomer machines might wake you up when they buzz by in the wee hours! Also the curtains aren't blackout, so if you're staying here not in the winter the sun might wake you up earlier than expected. But my goodness is that sunrise over the mountains fantastic. Nicely kitted out kitchen. Friendly & responsive hosts. Hot water was hot with good pressure. Kind of hosts to provide humidifiers for each room also!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful newer townhome in the quiet, private Mountainside development in Northstar. An incredible find—we loved the modern style & well-designed layout, walls of windows with awesome views, high ceilings & airy immaculate spaces, great storage, and best of all, that we were literally on the slopes. Step out the back door/back patio ONTO Home Run Trail, a legitimate ski-in / ski-out. We took off skiing every morning from the back door, came back for lunch/breaks, & skied home at the end of the day. We had such a great week with our 5 kids. Comfortable beds & linens. Well-stocked kitchen. We bbq’d tri tip one night. Great pool/spa/gym & lounge at the “Treehouse” visible from the house (short drive or a minute dash across the ski run after hours…). We enjoyed the big linear fireplace & cozy places to relax in the evenings. Everyone loved this place.

Amazing place & location. Right next to home run trail, short walk from Ritz-Carlton. We were two families with kids, really enjoyed our stay here.
