Beautiful and very appropriate for Lake Tahoe surroundings. House had EVERYTHING we needed!

This place was so beautiful. From the layout to the decor to the backyard… I would literally use this home for reference in building my own home. The place was well stocked with cookware, utensils, and even spices. The soaps that were provided smelled so so good and there was plenty of towels for our large group. The hot tub was a nice amenity as well. We were pretty bummed we couldn't use the fire pit outside, but considering everything else was great, it's hardly a concern. It's walking distance to a dog beach, restaurant and gas station. Nice little walking trails too. My only complaint is that there were old pizza boxes still in the oven. I will be keeping an eye out for this place when we visit again cause it was perfect!

We had the most incredible stay at the Secret Garden Lodge, it's even better than it looks in pictures. The house is so spacious and well-equipped, perfect for our big family. The backyard is stunning, full of beautiful trees (and baby squirrels everywhere!), and a perfect hot tub. Super comfy beds, just a comfy house in general. Loved it, will be back!

We couldn't have dreamt of a more beautiful and convenient rental for our family. Though it's only steps from the beach and restaurants, the house felt like a secluded retreat, with spacious bedrooms and living areas and a fully decked-out kitchen and outdoor grill. Extra credit for the huge back yard with tree house for kids! We will definitely be back.
