Overall, this is a really nice Airbnb in a great location. Upon arrival it was very clean and well appointed for a longer stay. When the WiFi went down the host was communicative and able to work through it.
There were two reason that it wasn’t five stars (considering the price). The driveway and non-county road up was not plowed. Even with 4x4 and spending most winters in Tahoe a car wasn’t able to make it up and we spent the first few hours shoveling. The surrounding homes are all Airbnbs with plowed driveways, so it was clear that they opted to not have a private plow before check it.
The second and this can also apply to a lot of Tahoe homes but there was substantial mouse droppings throughout the house, with most in the kitchen. I usually wouldn’t mind but for a thousand dollars a night cleaning that wasn’t ideal.

This is the most quaint place I have ever rented- great location, clean and cozy- an absolute must..... Thank you

We came here to celebrate our friends bachelorette weekend and couldn't be happier with the space! It was in a great location - just a short drive to food and the beach. The host was incredibly responsive and answered our questions promptly and were kind enough to set up the hot tub for us prior to our arrival. The beds were comfy and there were more than enough towels for the 7 of us which was incredible. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, excellent home.. we loved staying here. Nice and cozy wooded area with a hot tub, they were communicative and had towels/coffee etc. I wish the place had air conditioning.. other than that I can’t wait to come back!
