This might have been the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! It was super clean and everything was incredibly well stocked. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and found all the pots and pans and kitchen tools we needed. We even found some toys for the kids to play with. The location was great- very close to both Donner and Tahoe and downtown Truckee. We would love to stay again, and this place was a great value for the cost.

Tree Haus is a gorgeous home, very nicely decorated and has plenty and beds if you need it. The beautiful great room off the kitchen is the perfect place to gather. The tall windows let lots of sun in and also full moon moonlight. There are lots of windows in the home, which I really liked because it let lots of light in. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable and the TV room upstairs was perfect for relaxing with a movie at night. Morning coffee on the deck was also very nice. The mud room from the garage was the perfect place to leave our shoes and stuff as we came back from daily activities. The home is located on a quiet residential street with plenty of surrounding houses, but it was quiet and peaceful. We liked that is was close to the Tahoe Donner entry, so getting to the main roads and the store was easy. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

We just got back from a stay at Tree Haus in Tahoe Donner, and I have to say, it was an experience that's going to be hard to top. The place has a vibe that's both cozy and exciting, making it a hit with both us adults and the kids.First off, the house itself is a gem. It's tucked away among trees, giving you that 'lost in nature' feel, yet it's got all the modern comforts you could ask for. The living area became our family hub – a perfect spot for chilling after a day of adventures, with its welcoming fireplace and comfy seating.The kitchen is a dream. I'm talking high-end appliances and every kitchen gadget you could think of. Cooking our family meals here was a breeze, and eating together with the forest view outside the window was just special.Now, about the bedrooms – everyone slept like logs! The beds were super comfy, and the kids were over the moon with their bunk beds. It's the little things, right?The location is top-notch. Being in Tahoe Donner meant we had tons of activities right on our doorstep. Nature trails, bike riding, and Donner Lake nearby for some water fun – we were never bored.Also, the Tahoe Donner amenities are a big plus. The kids practically lived in the swimming pools and playgrounds, and we managed to sneak in some gym time too.Dealing with Tahoe Getaways was smooth sailing. They were on the ball, answering any queries we had and making sure everything was just right for our stay.To wrap it up, our time at the Tree Haus was phenomenal. It struck the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. We've left with a bunch of awesome memories and, honestly, I'm already thinking about when we can go back. If you're looking for a family getaway spot, this is it. Period.

What can I say - this home was far and away the best rental experience I've ever had in Tahoe. First of all, the home is HUGE! There's so many spaces here to relax and cozy up, which is just what is needed after a great day on the slopes. The 6 sleeping spots in the kids room downstairs is fantastic, plus the adjacent bedroom also lots of room to spread out. Each of these rooms has their own built in space heater too. The garage and adjoining mudroom is perfect to store all the ski gear and keep the mess outside. On the main level, the high vaulted ceiling lends you a feeling grandness as you sink into the comfy couches in front of the old school fireplace while you watch snow drifting down onto the large outdoor deck. The kitchen is stock full of everything one needs to prepare meals and snacks - this isn't some AirBnB that has a few token bowls and spoons lying around - the cupboards and drawers have bowls, glasses, utensils of every size and type - it's better than my own kitchen at home! Finally, upstairs, there's another spacious and comfortable area with couches, the TV and lots of room for kids to burn off steam (if they still have energy!). This whole house is really tastefully decorated and has high quality finishings in all areas. It was super clean and tidy and just a great experience. I will 100% be coming back here many many times in the future!!!

Fabulous home in a great neighborhood in Tahoe Donner. Close to ski resorts, downtown Truckee yet enough away that you feel like you are in a forest. Home is fully stocked with all the amenities one could need with a great TV room, great room with fireplace and large dining area. Love sitting on the outside deck and admiring the views of the trees with a cup of coffee in the morning. Master bedroom is very large with loft that has office space for those that need to work when away from home as well as a large en-suite bathroom and walk in closed. The wrap around deck and outdoor space is enjoyable for the kids and adults alike. Home is nicely furnished with all the comforts needed and kitchen is fully stocked with large pantry. Tahoe Donner community passes offer great amenities and during the summer we really enjoyed the marina at Donner Lake with chairs and tables to picnic as well as local gym, pools and hot tubs. The family enjoyed taking walk to local park and pizza restaurant as well as hiking trails throughout the community.
