This property is gorgeous and well located. Lots of amenities, and comfortable sleeping. We only had six guests but the property would easily accommodate a dozen or more. Very well set up for a ski vacation with racks for the skis and great changing room. Garages are spacious. Host had sleds available for sledding down to the river in back which were put to good use. Would be a great summer vacation location as well. Feels like you are at home!

Upon arrival we immediately went straight through the back doors to the deck and were awestruck by nature. We thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings followed by a dip in the Truckee River daily. The chipmunks, hummingbirds, squirrels, snakes, eagles, ducks, and bats kept us entertained. The property was close enough to many hikes and activities but far enough away from the major townships. The property manager was very helpful when we ran into a little setback with the hot tub and grill. We were sad to leave and would highly recommend this property to others!

Our group of friends had a fantastic time staying at the Bullshead Lodge. The kitchen was spacious with an inviting open dining area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spectacular. Best of all were the sitting areas and views looking out to the river. We spent several days sitting out in the river and watching rafters float by.

Better than advertised. Incredible home with lots of character. The highlight is the outdoor oasis on the river.

We loved this house! We stayed here with another family - a total of 9 people: 4 adults and 5 teenagers. The house is well-stocked, clean and laid out perfectly for a very nice stay. It's right in between Truckee and Tahoe City which made for a perfect location to visit both areas convenient. The views are gorgeous and the decor is tasteful. We all Highly recommend!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Bullshead. We had visited the home many years ago and were happy that it is still top quality. You can't beat the layout and privacy of the spot. Everything is very well equipped and organized for winter fun — sleds, amazing hot tub, unending firewood. We will be back next year!
