Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was everything we expected and so much more. There was plenty of space for our large party with extra linens and towels. We definitely enjoyed all the amenities including the spacious kitchen and living space, the xbox to catch Netflix on our down time, and of course the hot tub. The view of the lake was a great bonus on the one clear morning during our stay. We did need chains for the steep driveway but were warned in the listing description. Overall I would definitely come back.

I stayed with a group of friends here over MLK weekend and the first thing I have to say is that they aren't kidding when they say the hill is steep. Could not make it up the hill the first night because there was so much ice/snow on the road however it did not bother us too much because we were warned that AWD/4WD is required to make it up the hill during winter. We just parked at the school nearby and walked our stuff up. The place is huge! I know the title says sleeps 12 but you could definitely fit more if necessary. The hot tub was amazing and we had a great view of the lake when the skies cleared up for us. I would definitely recommend this place and would book here again.

We've spent a great weekend at the house. 3 families, 12 people in total (7 adults, 5 kids). Very comfortable with all the necessary things to have a great stay, comfortable beds, warm, nice fireplace, spacious. Perfect Location, Walking distance from the marketplace, restaurants, cafe, supermarket, etc.

We had an amazing time! The location is perfect, close to Squaw and Alpine and down the street from the center of Tahoe City. The house is great, spacious, clean, and has a gorgeous view. Parking is extremely easy as well. Thank you Tahoe Getaways!

Such an amazing stay! Stayed thurs-mon Sep 24-28th. We were so excited for our trip that 2 nights before we contacted owner/management ( both were ALWAYS responsive and so kind to answer all of our questions) to see if we could go up early and add a night and they were so prompt and accommodating. We had also emailed them the night before we were suppose to check out to again add an additional night because we didn't want to leave this house and they again were so great to accommodate us. We had never rented a home before but thought with so many people it would be best to find a home instead of a hotel. We had 12 adults (no children) staying and everyone ended up fitting perfectly in the beds, we didn't even have to use the pull out couch in the master bedroom. Plenty of towels and linens ( pack your own beach towels if you plan to go to the lake though ). By the way, the master bedroom has the most incredible view. It was such a treat to wake up to that it was hard to get out of bed! The house was as described and very clean, with a whole easy to follow guide about the house and about the area. Hot tub was ready to go at the perfect temperature. I enjoyed that I could watch TV in the living room and watch the sunset from the two huge windows on either side of the TV. The location is so close to downtown which has great restaurants and shopping, Safeway is right down the road which was really convenient. I would definitely recommend this home and its location is just perfect for anything you plan on doing. We originally planned to go to Kings beach but after taking a drive around the entire lake and spotting Sand Harbor beach with the huge boulders and clear blue water, it was such a beautiful and peaceful spot so we spent 2 days at that beach relaxing and kayaking. Go to Fire Sign Cafe its a must for breakfast! Fat Cat is also a great choice and its in walking distance from the home. Overall, couldn't have been happier with the stay and want to go back already!

I spent the weekend there with 3 families including 4 kids. The host was prompt to communicate and gave us a call several times to make sure everything is ok and accommodated our need for a later check out at 12 pm instead of 10 am. We had a fantastic weekend overall.
