Pioneer Lake View Retreat was wonderful. Tahoe Getaways were easy to work with. We stayed for one week in February and loved the place. All appliances worked. Great hot tub. Plenty of space for big groups. 10-minute walk to Tahoe City and Lake Tahoe. The house sits atop a hill which provides a great view but in the winter, a four-wheel drive is recommended for times when the roads ice. Great place!

We stayed at this house in February 2018 and everyone loved it. Nice bathrooms. All appliances worked. Great hot tub. Perfect location. Five-minute walk to Tahoe City and Lake Tahoe. 15-minute drive to Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows. We recommend bringing a four-wheel drive vehicle in the winter, as this house sits atop a hill which is why is has a view of Lake Tahoe. Great times!

This cabin was fantastic for our group of 10 people. The kitchen was fully stocked with serving utensils, the Xbox was an added bonus, and needless to say the hot tub and amazing deck view were both incredible. We had a 30-minute drive to North Star, which was super convenient, and picturesque lake views from the house. The beds were comfortable and everything was so clean. I would gladly stay there again.
